The Legendary Slaghuis

Slaghuis is an entrepreneurial black owned Entertainment, Events and Promotions Company. In the music industry there are very few entertainment companies that provides a platform for artistic development, the Slaghuis team saw the potential and jumped at the opportunity.
Slaghuis is a monthly hip hop event held in Soweto Diepkloof where unearthed artists can groom and showcase their talents and get themselves heard. The event showcases a variety of cultures and talents, i.e. Rap, Poetry, DJ-ing, Break dancing and Graffiti.
Slaghuis has successfully paved ways for a number of artists in the music industry like Pitch Black Afro, Pro Kid, 985 & F-eezy. These artists all came into the mainstream market through the Slaghuis doors.
Apart from entertainment, Events and Promotions the company is also involved in community building projects, such as AIDS awareness campaigns with Love Life (SABC 1) and Soweto Hospice.
